I received my Engineering and Ph.D. degrees from the University of La Rioja, Spain, in 2001 and 2006. Since 2003, I have been teaching Project Management. I taught this subject at the University of León, Spain, from 2003 to 2007. Currently I am working at the Department of Mechanical Engineering of the University of La Rioja.
Since 2001, I belong to the EDMANS (Engineering Data Mining and Numerical Simulation) Research Group at the University of La Rioja.
My research interests include the application of multivariate analysis, data mining, and artificial intelligence techniques in order to improve the quality of industrial processes. Research projects usually concern real processes, such as steelmaking and automotive industries.
