Note (27.2.): due to midterm exam week, no lecture on March 7th
nor exercise session on March 9th.
Note (23.2.): a pointer to table entry problem was asked. Try Google
with keywords "first digit law" or "Benford's law".
The exercise sessions are held on Fridays at 10 to 12 in hall T3,
starting from Jan 19, 2007. The sessions are conducted in English.
The exercises are not compulsory, and no extra credits are given
for solving them.
The exercise problems are published on this page a few
days before the exercise sessions. The problems are in
English.
The solutions to the exercises are delivered through Edita
(opetusmonisteet) twice during the course, and on this page.
Please read the solutions given in the end of the course!
The solutions available in the exercise sessions and after
them may contain some errors. Some of the errors may be
corrected in the final version.
